Main Surf Beach at Torquay Surf Club in Distance
Torquay is located near the junction of the Surf Coast Highway and
the Great Ocean Road (B100) approximately 21 kilometres from Geelong.
It is a large town of approximately 10000 people with extensive
shopping and services. It has an excellent surf beach patrolled by the
Torquay Surf Life Saving Club which is the oldest club in Victoria.
Torquay is officially the gateway to the Great Ocean Road. The world
